Fish tacos are a favorite in my household and we love changing it up and trying new flavor combinations like these pan seared fish tacos with mango salsa.
Fish tacos are a delicious way to eat fish and combining it with a sweet and tangy salsa makes it all the better. The steps are simple and the flavor combo is everything yum.
This post is about how to make easy and tasty pan seared fish tacos.
You will need:
Make the mango salsa. Chop up the mango, onion, avocado, and cilantro. In a medium bowl, add all of the ingredients including the fresh lime juice and gently toss together. Set it aside.
Next, pat dry the fish with a paper towel and season one side with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat a large pan on medium-high heat and add the oil. Wait for the oil to get hot and place the seasoned side of the fish down. Let it sear for 3-4 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillet. Try not to move the fillets around and just allow them to sear.
Season the other side of the fillet and flip it over. Set the heat to medium/medium-low and allow the other side to cook fully. The fish is done when it is no longer opaque in the middle.
To assemble the tacos, start by heating the tortilla in a hot pan set on medium-high heat for just about 20-30 seconds on each side.
Place about half of a fish fillet on the tortilla.
Top it with the mango salsa. Then, devour.
Serve these fish tacos with some lime wedges. Don’t they look yummy?…

Simple and delicious, these fish tacos take only minutes to make but make a lasting impression. The savory and sweet combo with the mango salsa will surely become a favorite.
Chop the ingredients and combine in a bowl. Set aside.
Pat dry the fillets and sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika on one side.
Set a large pan on medium-high heat and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, place the seasoned side of the fish fillets onto the pan. Let it sear for 3-5 minutes without moving it.
Once it has seared and browned, flip it over. Lower the heat to medium/medium-low and allow the fillet to cook for 5-7 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet. It is done once it is no longer opaque at the center.
Heat up the tortillas in a hot pan for about 20 seconds per side.
Put half of the fish fillet on the tortilla and top with the mango salsa. (Each fillet of fish should make about 2 tacos).
Enjoy!
